AcademiQR ("we", "us", "our") operates the academiqr.com website. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our service.

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Email address, display name, username, and profile photo when you create an account.
Content: Collections, links, images, themes, and QR code configurations you create.
Analytics: Page views, link clicks, device type, referrer URL, and user agent string for your public collection pages.
Authentication: We use Supabase Authentication for account management. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the AcademiQR service
To display your profile and collections on public pages
To provide analytics about your collection page views and link clicks
To send service-related emails (password resets, account notifications)

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with encryption at rest and in transit. Uploaded images are stored in Supabase Storage. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

Access: Download all your data from the Profile page (Export Your Data).
Rectification: Edit your profile, collections, and links at any time.
Erasure: Permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Profile page. This removes your profile, collections, links, analytics, uploaded images, and authentication record.
Portability: Export your data in JSON, Excel, or CSV format.

5. Cookies

We use browser local storage (not cookies) to maintain your login session. No tracking cookies are used. No third-party advertising or analytics services are integrated.

6. Third-Party Services

Supabase: Database, authentication, and file storage (Supabase Privacy Policy)
Google Fonts: Font delivery (no personal data collected)
Font Awesome: Icon delivery via CDN

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days. Analytics data for public pages is retained as long as the collection exists.

8. Children's Privacy

AcademiQR is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
