By using AcademiQR ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

AcademiQR is a web-based platform that allows users to create shareable link collections with QR codes, designed primarily for academic and professional use (conferences, presentations, educational resources).

2. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Usernames are permanent once set and cannot be changed.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Upload or link to content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on others' rights
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-create content
Impersonate another person or organization

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create on AcademiQR (collections, links, images, profiles). By making a collection public, you grant AcademiQR a license to display that content to visitors who access your public page.

5. Service Availability

We strive to keep AcademiQR available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete all your data at any time from the Profile page.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page, which permanently removes all your data.

8. Limitation of Liability

AcademiQR is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or third-party actions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
